CleanEquity Monaco 2012 - New companies & speakers announced  sacbee.com 02 Mar 12 CleanEquity Monaco 29 - 30 Mar 12, the world forum for emerging cleantech companies, announce the collaboration of the Hinduja Foundation, chaired by Ms. Shanu SP Hinduja. The Foundation has focused on promoting and improving healthcare, education, the environment, social welfare, arts and culture. CleanEquity Monaco also welcomes Clark Langdon Partners and Andrew Gilbert, Executive Vice President of European Innovation Development at Qualcomm Inc. Gustaf Nobel, great-grandson of Ludvig Nobel, brother of Alfred Nobel, founded, together with 5 other Nobel descendants the Nobel Sustainability Trust. George Frampton, senior counsel at Covington & Burling LLP, a leading law firm. He served as Chairman of the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) from 1998 to 2001 and most recently as Co-Chairman of the Obama transition team for CEQ.

The 4th annual CleanEquity Monaco event for Cleantech innovators and investors took place in the Principality 3rd & 4th March 2011. Set against a difficult economic climate, especially for investment in pioneering technologies, this invite only event introduces Cleantech entrepreneurs to venture capital investors. In this report we hear from Prince Albert II of Monaco, George Frampton (a former advisor to President Obama), and Stelios Haji-Ioannou; We interview Mungo Park of the event organiser Innovator Capital; Paul Clements-Hunt (pic left) of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP); James Cameron of Climate Change Capital; John S. The super rich continue to commission superyachts of 50 metres and more, whilst there are fire sales for second hand smaller yachts that have flooded the market. Meanwhile, the regulators are catching up with this offshore business, with new laws regulating crew and safety conditions. Top Marques Monaco 2011 premieres six new supercars

The 8th edition of Top Marques Monaco took place at the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco 14-17 Apr 11. It is the world's only live supercar show, and this year six new models were premiered. RivieraLife.tv correspondent Richard McCreery reports on Pagani's new Huayra, Fisker's new hybrid Karma 4 door saloon, Soleil Motors proto-type, he takes a spin in the handbuilt Noble 600 and meets Paolo Spada from the renowned family of leading supercar designers.
