CleanEquity Monaco 2011 – Awards

CleanEquity Monaco, the forum for emerging cleantech companies,
closed Friday 4 March with the CleanEquity Awards Ceremony
presided over by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. The annual
invitation-only event hosted 34 next-generation companies from
four continents, presenting to an audience of over 250
delegates, comprising specialist financial and strategic
investors, policy makers, end-users and international trade and
technical media. The award for Excellence in the Field of
Environmental Technology Research went to Halo IPT, a high
technology start up based in the UK developing wireless charging
systems for electric cars, busses and commercial vehicles. Sir Stelios
Haji-Ioannu presented the Stelios Award for the Young Cleantech
Entrepreneur of 2011 to Solar Press a young,
innovative, London-based company offering low-cost,
light-weight, flexible solar panels targeted at developing
