The debut of the Riviera Comedy Club 5-8 April 09 was a riotous success with much laughter and good attendance. RivieraLife.tv attended the Cannes event at Morrisons Irish Pub. Compère Andrew Bird and comedians Ben Norris & Simon Evans had the audience in fits as they attempted to empathise with the plight of local Real Estate Agents and the trials and tribulations of living on the Cote d'Azur. RivieraLife.tv took our cameras to the Akathor pub in the old town of Nice for round 2 of the Riviera Comedy Club. The gig clashed with the Chelsea v. Barcelona European Championship semi-final that saw the London club painfully exit.
