Undina means Water Sprite in German mythology

British comedian Griff Rhys Jones' love of sailing came from being cooped up on a small boat by his Dad each summer as they sailed the rivers of East Anglia. He is now the proud owner of the beautiful classic yacht 'Undina.' We bumped into Griff at The Riviera Comedy Club show at The Hop Store in Antibes in June and he invited RivieraLife.tv onboard. Griff & his crew were participating in the prestigious Voiles d'Antibes. In this video interview Griff tells us about his love of sailing, the colourful history of Undina and his new 5 part BBC1 TV series 'River Journeys' which starts July 26th.

After a rainy start Friday morning, the show enjoyed fine weather and good attendance. The AYS heralds the opening of the Mediterranean yachting season.
